An art light show illuminating new site

Lumieres HK

Lumieres Hong Kong is a light festival in Hong Kong which set light to some of the most iconic heritage sites of the City with the aim to highlight Hong Kong’s unique culture and history through light art.

Problem

Lumieres needed a modern looking website to promote their Art Lights festival and also and interactive app.

Solution

It was agreed upon to use Wordpres and Elementor page builder plugin. Phase one site was built quickly using Elementor and Jet plugins. Extra CSS and javascript was also added in a small custom theme. I added a custom google map for people to find the art installations easier.

Phase one was launched in 2018. There was update built but not launched due to the social unrest in Hong Kong and then Covid. It should hopefully be launched later in 2020.
